Why server side games generally can’t be hacked

We get many question daily asking us how to hack games such as Clash of Clans this article explains why server side games generally can’t be hacked
Overview –
• The Server – This party is responsible for serving content.
• The Client – This party requests content from the Server, and displays them to the user. In most cases, the client is a web browser.
Each side’s programming, refers to code which runs at the specific machine, the server’s or the client’s.
Server Side Code –
Server side is the code that resides at web server.
For every client request code is executed at server side and result is send to the client in simple HTML format.
Performance is lower than client side code due to server round trips.
Client cannot see the business logic though it is stored on server.
Client Side Code –
Client side code is reside at client’s browser itself. It is executed at
client side only. User can easily see the code by View – > Source option.
It is generally used in validation form like text field is empty or not, email address validation etc. It is faster than server side code
Server side code is responsible to execute and provide
the executed code to the browser at the client side. The executed code only have the
values or the results that are executed on the server.
There are many programs out there that claim to be able to hack games such as Clash of Clans, these are all fake, here’s why:
Any so called ‘gem hack’ will not work because the data is stored server side, so editing the data client side will then need to be confirmed server side.
In other words, there is no way to hack such a game. If there were a way, somebody would have figured it out, spread the information, and then it would have to have been patched rapidly. These kinds of games are specifically designed for people to not be able to hack into them. In order to do so you would have to gain access to the server and alter the information that contains things like how many gems you have. This in itself is a near impossible task because this information is sensitive and secure. It’s like if you were trying to gain credit card information off of a website like Amazon. It’s extremely unlikely and illegal that you’ll find a crack, but leaks do occur from time to time.

Trump and Putin are going to form a Cyber Security Unit to Prevent the Elections from being Hacked

Tweeting later his first conference with Putin on Friday, Trump announced that it is the time to operate constructively with Moscow, guiding to a ceasefire deal in southwestern Syria that came into force on Sunday.
“Putin & I talked forming an inscrutable Cyber Security unit so that poll hacking, & many other negative things, will be secured and safe,” he said regarding their talks at the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany.
Trump said he had proposed declarations of Russian intervention in the 2016 U.S. presidential election with Putin.
“I strongly urged President Putin twice about Russian interference in our election. He vehemently denied it. I’ve already given my opinion…..”
He added: “We arranged a ceasefire in parts of Syria which will save lives. Now it is time to go forward in working constructively with Russia!”
Republican Senator Marco Rubio of Florida promptly criticized the move on Twitter, saying Putin was not a trusted ally.
Associating with Putin on a “Cyber Security Unit” is similar to partnering with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on a “Chemical Weapons Unit,” he wrote.
Investigations by a distinctive counsel, Robert Mueller, and several U.S. congressional committees are seeing into whether Russia intervened in the election and intrigued with Trump’s campaign. Those inquiries are focused most exclusively on Moscow’s actions, lawmakers and intelligence officials say, and no proof has surfaced publicly associating other countries.
Moscow has denied any meddling, and Trump says his campaign did not cooperate with Russia.

Google has funded An Automatic News Creation Software

The Press Association becomes engaged UK-based news startup Urbs Media for the responsibility of building a suite of software that uses news data into savory content. Once up and running, the team is expecting the software will be ready to fill in some of the gaps that are currently existing under-serviced as the universal economic strain being experienced by newsrooms throughout the world deepens.
It’s related to a model The Associated Press has operated for a while now there in the States, mostly undertaking financial and cranny sports stories. A quick Google News search of the telltale tagline This story was produced by Automated Insights” shows hits from news outlets across the U.S.
In a news statement heralding the business commitment, Press Association Editor-in-Chief Peter Clifton announced the move a “genuine game-changer,” emphasizing that the partnership will focus on novels that might not otherwise be written up as local newspapers last to die off in this massive fourth-estate extinction. Of course, he was also quick to add that the move won’t do away with the human talent entirely.
“Skilled human journalists will still be important in the process,” he emphasized, “but Radar allows us to fit artificial intelligence to scale up to an amount of local stories that would be impossible to provide manually.” People will stay involved in the curation and editing of the stories and, probably, help limit the possibility of accidentally issuing incorrect information in an era when “fake news” is a fairly barbed insult on all sides of the political spectrum.
Will robotic journalists replace or simply support the effort of their human counterparts? A little bit of both, probably. Human news reporters regularly point out that AIs tend to lack refinement and a flare for writing in the stories they beat out.

You can only play an hour of “Honor of Kings” PerDay if you are under 12

Game Developer Tencent on Tuesday proposed new rules restricting users below 12 to an hour of game time each day. Those aged among 12 and 18 will be forced to log out after two hours per day.
“Honor of Kings” has remained a huge hit in China for Tencent (TCEHY), with higher than 160 million people playing it every month. It stood as the highest grossing mobile game in the world in May, according to analysis firm App Annie.
Tencent’s shares fell 4% on Tuesday in Hong Kong.
Tencent promoted its new rules, which further ban users under 12 from logging in after 9 p.m., as the “effective anti-addiction measures ever” in the Chinese video gaming industry.
“I don’t think the limitations are really going to work,” said He Ping, a Shanghai primary school teacher who is also a fan of the game. “There are always ideas for children to bypass them.”
State-run news agency Xinhua announced Monday that a 10-year-old boy used his mother’s ID and bank statement to register as a player. In just over a month, he spent 58,000 yuan ($8,500) buying practical equipment in the game.
Besides addiction, there exist also concerns about the game’s mature content. Some Teens on the multiplayer game use vulgar language that is unsuitable for children, according to He.
Li Min, a producer of “Honor of Kings,” supported the game in an open letter posted online. He said he thinks it’s wrong to blame the game for creating addiction problems, suggesting parents need to shoulder more responsibility.
He, the Shanghai teacher, accepted. “Tencent can’t replace the role of parents,” she said.
Tencent declined to answer further questions about the rules.
Earlier this year, the group introduced a parental control tracker on its WeChat messaging platform, allowing fathers to monitor the time and money their children spend on mobile games, and even prevent the game with a single swipe. But “Honor of Kings” wasn’t included.

WWE Database Exposed Online with the details of 3 Million Customers!

WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) has published that it’s investigating a vulnerability in which an unsecure database of more than 3 million customers exposed on AWS was discovered by a security researcher (Bob Dyachenko) from Kromtech (cyber security firm).
WWE said:
“Although no credit card or password information was included, and therefore not at risk, WWE is investigating a vulnerability of a database housed on Amazon Web Services (AWS), which has now been secured. WWE utilizes leading cybersecurity firms Smartronix and Praetorian to manage data infrastructure and cybersecurity and to conduct regular security audits on AWS. We are currently working with Amazon Web Services, Smartronix and Praetorian to ensure the ongoing security of our customer information.”

According to Forbes, The data included home and email addresses, birthdates, as well as customers’ children’s age ranges and genders. The database was sitting on an Amazon Web Services S3 server without any type of authentication.
Bob Dyachenko said:
“It’s likely the database was misconfigured by WWE or an IT partner as in other recent leaks on Amazon-hosted infrastructure.”
The researcher also told Forbes that anyone knows the URL can access the database and download it without any authentication.
Actually, this has happened before, it’s not the first time that an unprotected database was found hosted on Amazon with no authentication.

Facebook is finally stopping the Spam and Fake News

In a report, the social media Company said it was preparing the update “to reduce low-quality links” in users’ news feed.
Facebook said it took out research which revealed that a small group of users was “routinely yielding vast amounts of public posts per day,” which was definitely spamming people’s feeds.
The research showed that the same people, who did share vast amounts of public posts, were further sharing low-quality content.
As a conclusion of the research, Facebook announced it would “deprioritize” posts being shared by those accounts.
The fresh policy will only refer to links for individual Posts and areas pages, videos, photos, check-ins, or status refreshes will not be changed.
Facebook said it expected to make people’s news feed more “informative.”
It said: “By doing steps like this to improve news feed, we’re ready to cover more stories that people find information and decrease the spread of problematic links such as click bait, sensationalism, and misinformation.”
Meanwhile, Facebook is also arrived to be rolling out a new Discover tab for Messenger that order makes it easier for users to discover and engage with brands and chatbots, News reports.
The tool, that was unveiled during a Facebook discussion in April, is part of the company’s plan to make Messenger go-to communication programs between users and businesses.
The social system said it needs to make the app further like the Yellow Pages and get it easier for users to get in scent with businesses.
While users will be ready to use the Discover tab to “find the markets they care about,” this will also mean companies will also be able to pester users more easily.

RED’s Hydrogen One, A Smartphone with 5.7” Inch Holographic Display

RED founder Jim Jannard says “there is no good way to describe it until you see it.” He also writes that “our display is the technology you haven’t seen before. It is not lenticular, which is an inferior tech in every way, has been tried many times before and failed for good reason.
RED says that it will also use an algorithm to convert stereo sound into “multi-dimensional audio” to add to the immersive experience.
The company says the phone will ship in early 2018, and it’s currently available for preorder on RED’s website. It starts at $1,195 for the aluminum version, and there’s also a $1,595 variant made out of titanium.
All of this is subject to change, though. The company writes that the design of the phone may change, but more importantly, “after this initial release, we will NOT be able to fill all orders on time due to display production limitations. We will NOT guarantee these prices at the time of release.” The modular attachments won’t be available at launch, either.
Otherwise, Hydrogen One sounds like any other relatively beefed-up Android phone, though we don’t know exact specs. If you tweak the brightness of the photo, you can see a very grippy design and a relatively small camera bump. It will use USB Type-C, it has a microSD slot for expandable storage, and yes — it has a headphone jack.
